In 1972 I received my Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Arizona State University. Since then I have been a full time studio artist and teacher specializing in sculpture, metalsmithing and bladesmithing. I lived in Yuma, Arizona from 1972 until 1993 when I moved to Spokane, Washington with my wife, Kit and our dog River.
I am currently teaching jewelry at Spokane Falls Community College and producing limited edition and one of a kind knives as well as custom jewelry and metalwork tables and home furnishings.
We live on 65 acres with many animals ranging from banty chickens to a Belgian draft horse. My wife and I have been involved in animal rescue since we moved to Spokane and operate River's Wish Animal Sanctuary and Thumpqua, a rabbit sanctuary. A portion of my sales go to support this effort.
