Paper & Mixed Media

I am a mixed-media artist working primarily in paper, acrylics and metal.  Sculptural art lamps created from my own handmade paper and twigs are my specialty.  I love incorporating nature’s debris such as leaves, twigs and lichens in my work.  I also do collage on boards using twigs, leaves and paper.

I’ve just begun exploring color and paint and am creating abstract color studies on wood blocks meant to fit into those odd wall spaces in your home.  This line of work also includes painted coasters and trivets.

Leaves, spirals and geometric shapes are the inspiration for my jewelry line which is made of paper and copper or brass.  Paper, sealed with a polymer medium that renders it hard and water resistant, makes for very light and liberating jewelry.
